Garden City Organics

Brian Gandy and Kate Lee moved to Augusta after completing their studies in Horticulture at the University of Georgia. This will be their third year at the Augusta Farmer's Market. It was because of the interest and support they received about their local produce and knowledge of Organic growing that they decided to open Garden City Organics in the fall of 2008. Located at 1034 Broad Street., their shop offers a full selection of Organic Gardening Supplies as well as local produce, honey, meat and dairy products. They'll be bringing many of these products to the market this year. Brian and Kate are growers and work with other local growers to have the best seasonal local produce available. Leslie Carson discovered her passion for creating her all-natural homeade soaps after purchasing a book from a discount store while she was on vacation in 2005. Since that time, she has refined the process of mixing lye and essential oils to create soaps that clean, smell good and feel great. Pure magic was born with Leslie's mission to always use natural products, to create that are irridescent and magical, and to always give back to her community.

Mrs. Paulette has participated in the Saturday Market on the River for the last three seasons. She will be at the market on Saturday's throughout the season with her dressings, herb blends and wonderful gifts baskets. Feel free to stop by and sample her wonderful products and to receive recipes that she has mastered between 8 am -2 pm at The Augusta Market at the River. Mrs. Paulette’s seasonings and dressings - along with her kitchen - have been approved by the Dept. of Agriculture.
